Matariki Reading Term 2 2021

 In Week 8,  our reading activities were based on Matariki.

We had to read and then complete some activities about it.  Here is my work:

Reading Week 8 2021

In Week 8, Term 2  our school librarian, Mrs C, retired. On her last day, we put on a 

Book Character Parade. We dressed up in costumes like book characters and then we went

on a parade through the Daycare Centre next to the school, past the shops in the village,

along Hobson St and back upTennyson St to the school. We also made a letter to Mrs c.

 Today we wrote a piece of writing about the weather. We got to chose whatever type we wanted. I chose write about an acrostic about thunder.

Young Leaders 2021 Term 2 2021

 On 22 June 2021, I got to go on a two day trip to Auckland to take part in the Grip Leadership Conference. Mrs Edwards, Mrs B and my mum, Nardea were our drivers. We had a great time and the conference was really interesting.

Writing Week 7 Term 2 2021 Environmental Writing: The Old Playground

In Week 7,  we went outside and looked at the old wooden playground  to see if we could think how to write ``about it using personification. We tried to think about the old playground as if it were an old person. We wondered what the old playground might look like or do that was like an old person. Here is my work:
